This barber shop is the coolest place around! My teenage son has been getting his hair cut there for years and will not go anywhere else! We drive about 30 minutes to get there when there are other hair cutting places within 10 minutes of us. The atmosphere is classic and they are so engaging! He always gets a quality cut. You can't go wrong with either of the barbers.
Hesitantly booked an appointment to shape my beard up, last couple places I went I was unhappy with. Jeremy nailed it - a steady hand with no issues at all. Eric was super friendly as well. Overall great experience and I will definitely be back for a haircut in the next few weeks.
I just wasn't happy with the haircut I was getting at my previous barber shop and went to this establishment based on the recommendation of my wife's hairdresser ("the men who come out of there look good!"). I'm an older guy with thinning hair which can be a bit challenging to cut. Jeremy spent time understanding how I wanted my hair trimmed up, took great care throughout the cut, and checked in frequently to make sure it was to my liking. My previous barber spent most of my time in the chair running his mouth to other patrons in the shop about nonsense rather than concentrating on my hair! This is not a "sit-in-the-chair-and-get-clipped-fast" assembly-line type shop. They really take their time and make it an experience, right down to the hot towel and neck shave at the end. I love the fact you make an appointment and not waste time sitting there waiting your turn (no walk-in's). Make sure you book on Vagaro well in advance as they book up fast. At 24 for a cut it may be a bit pricier than some shops, but you get what you pay for when it comes to personal services. The barbers seemed to know every customer's name while I was there, so they must get a lot of repeat customers. This is a "cash only" business. Plenty of metered on-street parking near the shop. Make sure you put at least 1 1/2 hours on the meter as you may be in the chair for nearly an hour!
Moved to the area from Pittsburgh this past year, prior barber recommended I go here. Been going to Jeremy since October. He does great work every time. Highly recommend.
Absolutely the best barber shop I’ve ever been to! It was busy and a bit of a wait, but TOTALLY worth it! I’ve never had a better haircut!! The barbers are very precise. It’s not a “wham, bam, thank you” kind of service. They take their time, they put the maximum amount of effort in and you can tell that they take pride in what they do. I also really love the ambience of the barber shop. It’s not your traditional style. Its walls are decked with decades of retro items that bring back a sense of nostalgia for any age - including posters, autographed pictures, vinyl albums, comic books, magazines, figurines, and my personal favorite, a mounted deer with a cigarette. This barbershop is one of a kind and highly recommended!!
